Mohammed Shahid Former captain of hockey passed away

India’s former hockey captain Mohammed Shahid, a member of the gold medal-successful staff on the 1980 Olympic games in Moscow, handed away at a Gurgaon sanatorium following a couple of organ failure on Wednesday.




He was once suffering from liver and kidney disease after ignoring a bout of jaundice. Physical games Ministry had introduced a clinical grant of Rs 10 lakh for him and Railways, his employers, had introduced that his scientific expenses can be taken care of by way of them.
